As broadcast media takes increasing steps in becoming more accessible to an Internet-savvy generation, Radio Televisyen Brunei has also joined the ranks of providing on-the-go content when it launched the RTBGo mobile application recently on 10th October, 2020!
The RTBGo app was built as one of the initiatives to support the vision and mission of the Digital Economy Masterplan 2025, as broadcast media experiences the switch from analogue to digital and online broadcasting.
With new RTBGo website visitors reaching 70 per cent (320,000) of the total number of overall visitors, based on statistics from Google Analytics, it’s safe to say that there is indeed a new market for local media mobile-based content, with other applications such as the Progresif Media app in the list as well.

Enjoy various local content with the RTBGo app such as live TV, radio and video-on-demand (VOD)!
The available products and services include: RTB Sukmaindera television channel and the GoLIVE channel, where you can watch broadcast live programmes, as well as special programmes that are not aired on conventional TV channels.
Aside from that, you can also enjoy all of RTB’s radio networks such as Nasional FM, Pilihan FM, Pelangi FM, Harmoni FM and Rangkaian Nur Islam, as well as trending videos through the VOD service!
In addition to the numerous types of content, the RTBGo app also offers several informational and educational-based audio podcasts.
